IMG_1520Eating healthy and staying healthy also means eating seasonal and local produce.  By choosing your foods in season, you will benefit from maximum nutrition with at least 3x more vital nutrients found in the crops. You also support the local farmers, and the produce taste is much delicious because the fruit and veg have fully ripened and kept its flavour.

Gluten Free Whole Grains
GF Oats, Quinoa, Millet, Spelt, Brown Rice, Pop corn, Teff.

Fruit
Strawberries, Watermelon, Mangoes, Raspberries, Blackberries, Limes, Peaches, Cherries, Grapes, Plums, Apricots.

Vegetables

Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Cabbage, Peas, Lettuce, Carrots, Cauliflower, Radishes, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Rocket, Watercress.

Lean Protein

Organic Lamb, Organic Chicken, Cod, Crab, Mackerel, Salmon, Dover Sole, Sea bass, Shrimp, Halibut, Scallops, Prawns, Sardines.

Hydrating Liquids
Natural Mineral Water, Fruit Infused purified water, Herbal teas, Sparkling Water, Fresh made vegetable juices.

Healthy Fats

Get Creative

With the Fabified Summer Shopping  list you can make any thing from sumptuous salad’s with delicious dressings,  superfood smoothie’s, sautéed veg with grilled fish, chilled soup, sexy seed muesli, trail mix and much more.  Don’t forget to hydrate as well, at least 750ml a day.  I love adding sliced cucumbers, limes and strawberries to a large jar of natural mineral water, that way it not only is delicious and nutritious but it looks fab as well.
