I recently received a great article from Institute of Integrative nutrition; the nutrition school I graduated from as a Certified integrative nutrition health coach with a list of summer affirmations. I have been using affirmations ever since 2013 when I started doing daily guided meditations with Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey. It may seem a little hippy dippy to those of you not familiar with the concept, but trust me it works!
I believe where I am today in life today comes down to a combo of daily meditation, daily affirmations, self -belief, supportive friends/family, and staying as optimistic and positive as much as I can even during tough times. I still have a way to go in pursuing my goals but either way, when I look back 3 years ago and was still in a corporate job, unfulfilled, but decently paid, I decided to finally have the courage to quit and go to nutrition school….I am still “ash” but a more self aware, present and conscious ash, yet still silly, outgoing, and a free spirit at heart. Every day I will use an affirmation through out my day…first thing after my morning meditation, while I am walking Aston our pug to grab a green juice, queuing for a coffee, or waiting in a taxi during a traffic jam. Affirmations are a great natural mood booster and reminder to live life fully, don’t give up on your dreams, believe in yourself completely and to keep going during the grey times.
I thought I would share with you the 15 summer affirmations I was sent that you could use daily for the next 15 days to give you a pre-summer boost; as summer is a great time to renew yourself, rethink current situations, and reboot those goals you have been wanting to tackle.

Try this exercise and see for yourself, simply copy and paste the 15 points on to your notebook/smartphone with a morning alert reminder or print and have it in a place that you will see every morning, As you go through the affirmations, write your daily affirmation somewhere you can see it constantly; and repeat it regularly throughout the day. Using the power of affirmations in life regularly will help makes your dreams come a reality soon enough, with a more clear, conscious, confident mindset.
1) I am radiating with health and happiness that shines from the inside out.

2) Every day there is a new reason to smile and I share my joy freely with others.

3) I feel beautiful, confident, and free in my body and know that others see the best parts of me.

4) There are no limitations to my happiness and I can do anything my heart yearns for.

5) I am joyfully attracting an adventure to somewhere new that will open my heart and energise my spirit.

6) Every day I am becoming more playful and adventurous.

7) I feel freedom and ease in having new experiences and welcome more pleasant surprises in my life.

8) I am surrounded by love and happiness wherever I go.

9) I allow myself to fully express how I feel and what I want.

10) I accept myself as a beautiful work in progress and flow

11) I am a creative spirit and joyful explorer of both my inner and outer worlds.

12) I am opening up to blissful possibilities through new relationships every day.

13) I liberate myself from the past and move forward happily towards new experiences.

14) I move through life with effortless grace and appreciate how things always seem to fall into place.

15) I listen to my intuition and allow myself to experience the flow of wherever life takes me.
