imageEating healthy and staying healthy also means eating seasonal and local produce.  By choosing your foods in season, you will benefit from maximum nutrition; at least 3x more vital nutrients are found in the crops. You also support the local farmers, and the produce taste is much more delicious because the fruit and veg have fully ripened and kept it’s flavour.
Organic Seasonal foods are full of nutrients and better for your health. When Fruit and Veg are picked at their peak and grown locally/ organically they will have 3 x more nutrients than non local and organic, not to mention 4 x more flavour. Eating organic, seasonal produce is the best way to eliminate the harmful effects of pesticides on your health. Food grown without chemicals is the best way to feed your body which will nourish your heart, health, body and mind.
Organic seasonal foods shopping helps support local farmers and is better for the environment  It’s more likely that your food is grown locally or at least regionally when it’s in-season, meaning less emissions in sending it your way. It also takes less energy and input to grow foods in their ideal climate and growing conditions, meaning a smaller ecological footprint to your eating.
