Watermelon: I love having this as an afternoon snack or after dinner desert. It’s so refreshing and light that you can latterly eat a whole watermelon without giving yourself a huge sugar rush. Made up of mostly water and natural sugar, watermelon contains both magnesium and potassium which are also great if you have had one to many cocktails the night before.

Cucumber: Cucumbers are ultra-hydrating and are a good source of vitamin C for immune health, vitamin K for bone health, and potassium for heart health. They are great in juices, salads, or added in a wrap.

Lemonade with mint leaves: This is my favorite drink to cool down, it’s so tasty.

Grapes: I love putting grapes in the freezer as a cold treat. They are so easy to eat and really cool me down. The combination of their texture and sweet flavor makes them so easy to add to fruit and vegetable salads. Plus they are bursting with anti-oxidants.

Strawberries: Strawberries are one of my favorites. They are not only delicious on their own but also yummy in smoothies, cold water, and healthy deserts. Like most berries, they are packed with water, vitamins and antioxidants, which can help the body remain hydrated.
