Start your day with this beautifying, energising and fantastic immune-boosting smoothie that will keep you full until lunch time and, as all my recipes, is packed with vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and antioxidants.

It takes only 10 minutes to make, so grab your blender and let’s get started 🙂

Secret Sexy Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 generous handfuls of organic leafy greens
  • 1 cup of blueberries, or your favourite berries
  • 2 stalks of celery  (to rehydrate your skin and body)
  • 1/2 avocado  (containing healthy fats and skin-saviour vitamin E)
  • 1 scoop protein shake
  • 2 or 3 teaspoons of maca powder (adaptogenic, hormonal-balancing)
  • 2 teaspoons of superfood greens powder with chlorella and spirulina (blood cleansing)
  • 1 cup of almond milk

How to prepare:

Mix all the ingredients together in your Vitamix or blender until smooth and creamy. The combination of berries, potassium-rich celery, energy dense avocado, maca powder and my favourite clean, vegan protein shake and greens complex to maximise your metabolism, make this smoothie the best choice for a nourishing breakfast.

Choosing a plant based protein shake with added probiotics and omega 3 really makes a difference by increasing the healthy nutrients in your body. Since I added it to my morning smoothie my skin looks glowing and feels energised.
